METHOD FOR AN EFFECTIVE MIXING OF BETONGUARD TO CONCRETE
- Dry aggregates + sand + cement
- Add to the mix 90% of water
- Add BetonGuard and mix for at least 1 minute for each cube metre
- Add the remaining 10% of water
RECOMMENDED RECIPE OF ONE
CUBIC METRE OF CONCRETE
- Cement 4,25 = 330 Kg
- W/C ration = 0,40 – 0,45
- BetonGuard = 3% – 4% of the cement weight
- Do not use super-fluidifiers

The addition of BetonGuard allows the concrete mix to acquire stability and cohesion.
To obtain the best results with BetonGuard, it is necessary to stir the mixture for a long time. BetonGuard can be added either in the concrete plant, also stored in silos, or directly in the truck mixer on site. In case of addition at the construction site, a high speed mixing of not less than one minute is recommended for each bag used.
The long workability of the mix obtained using BetonGuard extends the laying times and makes it extremely easy to pump.
In order to guarantee the waterproofing of the structure both in the joints and in the formwork spacers, we recommend the use of WATER SWELL – CORK SWELL – RING SWELL in bentonite or hydro-expansive rubber.
